6th World One Health Congress, Virtual edition, 2020

The 6th One Health Congress in Edinburgh, Scotland has been rescheduled due to COVID-19 to 30 October to 3 November 2020. The event co-organized by the One Health Platform, the University of Edinburgh and CORDS member network the SACIDS Foundation for One Health will take place virtually with the theme ‘Advancing science to improve health and security.’ The program will include Epidemiology and the clinical impact of newly emerging infections, biological threat reduction and the cost-effectiveness of One Health intervention programs.

Extra sessions on SARS-CoV-2 / COVID-19 are planned and they are specifically welcoming abstracts with an emphasis on pathogenesis and clinical manifestations, virology and epidemiology, intervention strategies (diagnostics, vaccines, antivirals, antibodies and biological response modifiers) and clinical and outbreak management.
